Victorian Aberdeen

Thank you to all 5/6K parents for helping us fund the visit from the Aberdeen Urban Studies Trust. The children had the opportunity to work co-operatively in groups to record information gained from primary and secondary sources of evidence from the Victorian era. Handling everyday Victorian objects (such as toys and pieces of clothing) and analysing photographs of Victorian architecture provided the children with a real feel for what life was like in Victorian Aberdeen. Special thanks to Alan Paterson for make the workshop highly engaging and interactive.imageimageimageimageimage
