Changes to our School Lunches

Our School Lunches are moving to a new exciting system.  We aim to have this up and running before the summer break.  Click on the link to find out more information.  On Friday 18th March, a representative from Accord Aberdeen will give a short presentation about the new system and he will be around for the whole of the Open Morning session to answer any questions that you may have.

  1. Hi there. Will the current P7s, who have already applied for Accord Cards for next year, be using their cards at Glashieburn before they move up to Secondary? They aren’t currently scheduled to get them until they visit Oldmachar in June.

  2. thanks for the reply Paula. For others interested, here is the answer from the City:

No, there will be two cards. So, the parents/ carers applying for an Accord Card (with the photo/ Young Scot etc.) should still do so and they will get this card at the orientation day at secondary school. On the assumption we go live in your school before the summer break, they will also get a Kidz Card (no photo etc.) to use solely at your school and essentially at the end of term the P7 Kidz Cards can be destroyed as they are single use card only.

  3. Delighted to read this…… No more cheques to write as kids running out the door in the morning lol

  4. Will p1-3 who currently get Free school lunches still get Free school lunches? If so will they get a card and choose their lunch in the morning too? I think this is a really good idea, hope it works as well as it looks!!

    1. Yes they will still get free school meals. Hopefully you can come along to see the presentation on Friday morning.
