P6C received an unexpected letter from Australia!!

The Great Mail Race

Yesterday Miss Connell found a strange letter in her pigeon hole, it was addressed to us. We opened the letter and read that it was from Mik and Nathan from the International school of Western Australia.  The boys told us about their school and asked if we would like to participate in The Great Mail Race.  We have chosen to write letters to 14 schools in Africa and we hope to receive replies and learn about their schools too.

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on our attempt to complete The Great Mail Race!

Thanks, Miss Connell and P6C pupils

  1. Great work! This sounds like an exciting adventure, let me know if you would like to borrow some teaching resources. I’ve had several trips out there ( Australia) and we have family living there. ( Two ex. Glashiburn pupils)
Where in Africa are you writing to?

  2. Dear Boys, Girls and Miss Connell,
How exciting for you! I look forward to ‘watching this space’ and hope we get some exciting responses.
    Mrs Winton
