A message from our current PTA members:
You may be aware from a previous post that the current PTA are standing down.
For the PTA to run successfully, it requires a Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and Vice Chairs. If you are interested in becoming part of the PTA, please come along to the next meeting on Monday 1st June at 7pm. The AGM is on Wednesday 10th June at 7pm, where hopefully a new committee will be elected.
The PTA raises funds for the school, supports additional activities and organises fun events for the children during their time at Glashieburn. Recent purchases have included ipad minis, new playground tables and reading books for Early Stages. The PTA are involved in arranging the Fayres, organising discos, issuing Spree Books and arranging the Christmas Card orders, amongst other things. Meetings are held once a month and usually last for around an hour.
It would be disappointing to see the PTA fold, however if no-one is willing to come along and be elected then this is what will happen. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your support over the last two years and hope to see lots of people at the meeting on 1st June and at the AGM on 10th June.
